1. Who provides WalkiNova

WalkiNova is provided by Hakim Ben Hadj Brahim, an independent developer based in Tunisia ("we", "us"). Contact: bhbhakim001@gmail.com.

2. What WalkiNova does

WalkiNova suggests good times to walk, run, cycle or move based on weather forecasts and your preferences, and records your activity sessions on your phone and Wear OS watch.

The core app is free. Everything that is free in WalkiNova today stays free. WalkiNova Plus is an optional subscription that adds extra features on top.

3. Safety first

WalkiNova gives general information, not medical, health or safety advice. Weather forecasts can be wrong and conditions can change quickly. Always check the conditions around you, follow traffic rules, stay aware of your surroundings, and do not use the app while it would distract you from moving safely. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine if you have any health concerns.

WalkiNova is not an emergency service. Distances, steps, calories and pace are estimates.

4. Using the app and your account

You can use WalkiNova as a guest or sign in with Google to back up your sessions. You must be at least 13 years old. Keep access to your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.

You agree not to misuse WalkiNova: no unlawful use, no attempts to access other people's data, no disrupting the service, and no copying, reverse engineering or reselling the app except where the law allows it.

5. WalkiNova Plus subscription

• Purchase and billing. WalkiNova Plus is sold through Google Play and charged to the payment method of your Google account. The price, billing period and any trial are shown in the app before you confirm, in your local currency and including the taxes Google applies.
• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the price then in effect, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it is for new subscribers only. At the end of the trial you are charged the price shown unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Introductory offers. Discounted first-period prices (for example for early supporters) apply only to the first billing period and then renew at the regular price shown.
• Cancel anytime. Cancel in the Google Play app: Profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, WalkiNova Plus. The app also has a Manage subscription link. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds. Payments are handled by Google Play and follow Google Play's refund policy and the consumer laws of your country. We do not give partial refunds for unused time unless the law requires it.
• Price changes. If the price changes, Google Play informs you in advance as its rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
• Payment problems. If a renewal payment fails, Google Play may give you a grace period to fix it. If it isn't fixed, Plus features turn off.
• Restore. If you reinstall the app or use a new phone with the same Google account, use Restore purchase in the app.
• When Plus ends, the extra features lock again. Everything you created stays yours, and the free app keeps working.

6. Your content

Your sessions, notes and route images belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy. If you share a route image, you are responsible for what you share and with whom.

7. Our app and third-party services

The WalkiNova name, logo, design and software belong to us. The app uses third-party services, such as Google Play, Mapbox maps (© Mapbox, © OpenStreetMap contributors) and Open-Meteo weather data (CC BY 4.0), which have their own terms.

8. Availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep WalkiNova reliable, but the app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that forecasts and estimates will be accurate. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering WalkiNova Plus, we will tell you in advance and you will not be charged for periods after it ends.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injury, loss or damage that results from activities you choose to do, weather or route conditions, or reliance on forecasts and estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using WalkiNova at any time and delete your account in the app. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a WalkiNova Plus subscription; cancel it in Google Play. We may suspend access if someone seriously misuses the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app changes. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using WalkiNova after that, the new terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
